Defended many motorists who have been sued as a result of automobile collisions. Mr. Cannon has been retained by most of the national insurance carriers.
Defended a product supplier whose product was involved in a tragic collision resulting in the death of a two year old girl.

Defended clients in breach of contract claims, successfully having the contract declared to be void as being procured through fraud.

Education
Mr. Cannon received his undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas, in 1996, graduating on the Dean's and President's Lists for academic excellence. He then attended the Texas Tech University School of Law, earning his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 2000.

Mr. Cannon is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of Texas. He is also licensed in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, as well as the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Community and Volunteer Activities
Mr. Cannon is a volunteer Judge for the Smith County Bar Associations' Teen Mock Trial. He is also a member of the Paul Powell Recreation Committee at Green Acres Baptist Church in Tyler. Mr. Cannon is also a proud member of the Texas Tech Alumni Association.
